Just FYI (Digital Camera's in the stadium)

We were stopped by security on our way in to the stadium and asked how many megapixels our digital cameras were. We had 2, 1 was 3.2 and 1 was 6.0 megapixels. They gave us some trouble and said that anything over 3.0 megapixel is forbidden. They let us go in anyway.

Point to the story, if you are asked by security how many megapixels your camera is, lie and say 3. If they check it, just say you didnt even know what a megapixel was.

    What's the reasoning? I wasn't even stopped/asked when I took mine in...

What if you say, what is a megapixel?

I'd imagine they'd look themselves. You're probably more safe by lying.

I wasn't either. You will be able to see by my pics.

another thing you could do is wear your camera around your neck in the case and they have never asked me to open my camera case yet. If they start that, I will just sneak it in my plastic bag, wrapped inside my jacket.

If they try and give you a problem, just scratch it off your camera or put a sticker over it. I can't believe they would give you a problem over it.

They are NOT going to stop me from taking my gameday pics. If they do, I'm going to tell them to shove their ****ing $330 up their ass. This is getting ridiculous. They want us to pay all this ****ing money, but then they ban us from bringing in outside food, then outside drinks, and now cameras? **** THAT!!!

Who cares how many pixels a camera has. What difference does it make? If someone asked me about pixels, I wouldn't have a clue as to what he was talking about.

I think it's because cameras like mine also record video and the NFL is trying to crack down on video.

Maybe they can try to raise money by renting only 'approved' cameras.
