I blamed the OL too much.

Today, Drew had several seconds to throw on several occasions, and either:

    a) still got sacked
    b) still completely missed open receivers

My head is out of the sand. This is painful.

I can finally relate to the old guys who had to live through the 70's.

I like to call it hope. Now I have no hope.

Sadly, hope always finds defeat in the face of reality.

                Let's blame...Canada!

Yo LOG, old guy bg here, I agree but I don't think it'a all line, but it sure has a lot to do with it. The only thing postive today was that I didn't hear "Holding, 75 offence. Repeat the down," 20 times. Other than that? Yikes. The whole Drew-OL combo just ain't gellin, majellan. Williams gets beat on the right and has to almost trip every play to stop his guy. Backs release and don't pick up the blitzers.

Whatever miracle the O-line coaches were supposed to do ain't happening. At one point we moved back what, 30 yards on a drive?

And the Drew/Moulds tandem is just too unpredictable! 3 years now and these guys aren't on the same page on a regular basis??? Forgetting Mould's injury last year, why wouldn't they both come outfiring on both cylinders from the start?

We shouldn't have even been in the position for Drew to Hail Marry it with 2 minutes to go. Other drops are lack of concentration by Moulds, (what else can it be when it is thrown to him in a fairly catchable area, and he drops it.)

Other passes out of the backfield and Drew consistantly threw at their feet, then shook his head in disgust and said 'that's me'. No kidding. They may have worked on his release during camp, but his touch still sucks unless he's throwing a slant or a hail marry.

I actually had hope when they announced a new QB was coming in on that direct snap to Moulds. I figured they came to their senses and decided to pull a Fiedler in only week 2. Oh well. We don't need Drew to do what we saw out there today. Handing off to Henry doesn't take a genius.

I said it another post, naysayer or not, but damn, if they win one game this year playing like that, it will be a miracle.

Drew is starting to make RJ look like Vick.
