look around the nfl,

while a couple top flight qb's have spanked some crappy Ds, qbs and passing games all around are for 5h!t.

while drew is sipping hot piss from the cup that the oline and moulds is swimming in, we have been in both the games and tough ones too.

raiders in oakland is TOUGH and jacksonville is a strong team (ask denver), teams like KC are getting destroyed as nfl Ds seem to own every team around.

Garcia, Favre, to an extend Testy (lotsayards but 3 picks) mcnair, palmer, hell most of the nfl starting qbs have played as bad or worse than bledsoe, who played "pretty good" in game one and pretty bad in game two.

anyhow, the point of this all is that as bad as we look on O, every damn team looks bad on O (check out the Tampa Seattle game, 2 non NFL teams playing by the way they look).

so, if we can play like the baltimore ravens played in 2k, but mix in more plays passing (we have 2 first picks at WR, one high 2nd, a first overall at QB 1 first at RB, and one high second) because we actually do have talent on O, we can not suck and win games.

frankly the most important thing for our team is to be able to get something going running the damn rock, and travis right now is not getting it done, but we do have another option (as opposed to QB, or safety right now), which is put in Mcgahee more. even half and half will prolly help us, i say willis would convert some of those short yardage situations, and that is all that stands in our way from being 2-0.

we know we have 9 million problems as a passing team, so we minimize them (just like how we played against jax, but with a couple more deeper shots a game) but we have to develope our running game, and that means betting on Willis finding his super star form sooner or later.

just as bledsoe is crap without protection, travis is crap without having the D in stop pass mode, he just does not have the talent to smash through the short yardage, or make Ds pay with speed or a big run. time to put the most talented player in the 2003 draft and a huge gamble pick to use.

It might not make a huge diff, but the way the nfl and our games have gone, it does not have to be to make a big enough diff for us to win some games.
