It's a mute question because Drew won't be brought back next year. Not unless some magical turn around happens which seems highly unlikely.

I dont see him a Bill next year either, if he is gone next year anyway what would it cost the Bills in cap or would we save any $$$$$

cutting DB before 3/1 would save the Bills $1.2 mil in 2005 (he would count over $4mil as dead cap money - that which was saved against the 2004 cap by redoing his deal) and $6.4 mil in 2006 (he would have no dead cap).

I already gave up my season tickets a couple years ago. This team is not dedicated to winning...they are dedicated to doing the minimum amount possible to give people hopes and sell enough tickets to line RW pockets with money. I can see right through their crap. When they field a team that has a shot at going deep into the playoffs then I'll reconsider giving them full price for all of the pre-season games. Unfortunatelly, we have to "rebuild" every damn year because our management are morons and coaches incompetent. I have no idea why we hired a HC with no experience AGAIN. I am completely disgusted with the Bills and am thinking of becomming a Packer fan.

and incidently...as long as you people are dedicated to buying the tickets "no matter what happens" they will never care about the true quality of the team. As long as they can sit back and watch Porno's all day instead of working and still bring in the $$$$$$ they have no motivation.

I don't know why anyone would buy seasons and pay full price for preseason games. Bills tix aren't that hard to come by.

There has never been a game I've wanted to go to that I couldn't get tix.

And No hassle of finding the tickets.

And we do get a discount that I think adds up to the price of one Preseason game. So we're only actually paying for one.

I was in the goal line club and it was not worth $3500.00 a year to watch the product they have been putting on the field. I talked to a freind that still had tickets in there and he said the place is half empty now. I will still go to games every year as I have for over 40 years now. But they need to put a taem that can win on the field before they fill the club seats again. It is a matter of principal.

Nice.......

People- if you aren't a Bills fan- then please don't torture yourselves. Back in the late 1960', then again in the late 1970's, and then again in the mid 1980's we heard the same sob stories.

"This team has no commitment to winning- you are al suckers and sheep- I'm never coming back....Boo-Hoo....."

And then guess who are the first ones back when the team gets off to a 5-3 start.

**** or get off the pot.

Hey we all suffered through the cap hell...and a crappy coaching staff. I'm very disappointed we hired another coach with no experience...I'm not saying he's not good or going to be good. But hiring a proven coach does not count towards the cap it's just a greater expense. GW should have been **** canned a year earlier there was plenty of quality coaches on the market and we should have gotten one of them. We didn't win the last three years because of the cap...and now we are in a good position with the cap and still aren't going to win because the offense is inept. Next year we won't be winning because we will be rebuilding again with a second year quarterback at the helm with no game experience. That's five years of rebuilding...how much rebuilding do we need?

You do get better tickets and less hassles with the seasons...and there is a quantity discount (slight) but still they make you pay full price for the preseason games...that is BS price gouging forcing the best customers to preserve the margins on a sub-marginal product of the preseason.

You are right there, here in Tampa TIXS are so hard to get. I have seasons but only by mistake, a freiend moved away and I but them from him.......THE LIST here is over 100,000 to get seasons and thats not a lie!!!!

But nothing beats a game at Orchard Park!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I fail to see how my willingness/refusal to spend money establishes me as a Bills fan.

I will always cheer for the Bills - however, the drive to Buffalo and the commitment it requires for me to attend games is not worth it when we lose. If I watch it a game at home or in a bar, it's a lot easier to get over than if I just spend the few hundred $$ that it costs to attend a game and sit through the drive home with everyone.

I don't think that Donahoe does anything to help this team win and, as I've said before, until he's gone or we make the playoffs, I am not paying full price for any ticket and will only attend games on bus trips and the like (where the 30 or 40 other people make it easier to get over the loss).

Bledsoe is by far the worst starting QB in the league right now. A decent line needs to give a QB no more than 3.5 seconds and the line has been doing that for the most part. Drew is indecisive and it is killing them. How can some one who has been a starting QB in this league for this long not be able to make a decision? That is the #1 thing a QB needs to do is make split second decisions and Drew can't do that anymore. It couldn't be that he is brain damaged from getting hit so many times in the last 3 years could it?? I have had it with this Front office. Every year I buy my season tickets thinking “This year is going to be different” and every year it is different alright, It just gets worse. TD’s drafts have not panned out, his coaching choices have been HORRIBLE, about the only thing this guy has done is to lie to his customers to sell more season tickets. Well I can tell you one person I know that will not be lining his pockets next year unless some type of Miracle happens and Drew gets new legs and a new brain. Could it be time to send Drew, Tom, Ralph and MM down the Yellow brick road? Ralph needs a brain for hiring TD, Drew needs some heart because he has no confidence in himself, TD needs some courage to Waive Drew and admit another failure, and Mike Malarkey at this point probably just want to go back home to Pittsburg!

That's hysterical Voltron! Honestly.

I myself did not split our family renewal this year, not because of the way the team plays, but because I guess I'm just in another phase of my life now.
(Not that the debacle that was GrEGG Williams helped, but it really wasn't a factor in my decision.)

If I wanted a pair of WYS's seats, I'm sure he would have been happy to sign them over to me, and where you guys sit, are dynamite seats. GREAT view.

I just keep thinking back to last year's Redskin game, when Me, and WYS, (his wife) RichieRich, and several others were subjected to a bunch of pea brains cursing, starting fights, and throwing full cups of beer around. What fun is that? Especially at that price? Then they raise the parking to 15 bucks. Then they don't open the gates until four hours before kickoff. Then they start blacking out the Bills HD feed on the dish, so I have to watch it on channel 4. The list goes on.

I've had enough. I hope they win, I really do, but so many negative things that surround the team (and the league in general) have really dampened the experience for me, to the point where I think...I just don't care anymore. That doesn't mean I'll never attend a game, or won't root for my team, it just means I won't invest hundreds upon hundreds of dollars in it.

Then throw in the fact that the team has made some poorly thought out player/coaching moves, and it only reinforces my belief that I made the correct decision in the first place.

But again, that's just my take for me. I hope you all have fun, and get the enjoyment out of it that you're hoping for.

I have a wonderful time before the game meeting with all the Tailgating folks. I also think there is nothing like being at the game. I tend to lose interest when watching on TV because I am now kind of spoiled by the whole experience of being at the games. That being said I think that next year I will just take the money I spend on seasons and buy NFL ticket. I will end up saving money due to gas, parking, and other assorted costs with going to Buffalo.

it IS The Old Fart's fault.this team has hit a serious decline since The Glory Days.let's not forget that he isn't in this to lose money so that "he's spent a ton of money on players" crap isn't going to fly with people who are season ticket holders.they spend a ton just to have them.

what about people who went to oakland...or going to seattle.....or san francisco.......?????they spend money on airline tickets...hotels....tickets for the game....concessions....etc.......just to see their favorite team play.i'm one of the few who is lucky to leave seattle as an option now.what the hell do i want to spend money on a trip to seattle if we're going to get creamed???i'll spend that money on my kids for Christmas.
