Don't be suprised, it could happen. No not secretly let go in a politically correct way, he may just quit. It wouldn't suprise me.
If he doesn't think he can turn the team around, he may not want to be remembered as the coach responsible for Buffalo losing their team.
Ruff will get work elsewhere. Everyone across the league knows the guy has nothing to work with here. Even if he does, everyone needs a change. Ruff's best choice may be quitting before he gets fired and sinking with the ship.
I think it's becoming evidently clear Lindy cannot turn this team around, for whatever reason. It's in his best interest to step down.
