Who do you think is the better receiver?.....I'll probably get blasted for this, but I take Moulds, no question! reed (whom I love) had a much better QB/OL/team.

If Moulds had Kelly throwing to him , who knows?

I'll take reed, he had more heart and leadership

Reed had an incredible knack for making a play when the Bills needed it. Maybe that's because of having a better team but I don't think that's all of it. I'd take Reed.

Right on. Moulds is a much better athlete. Reed was twice the player. For every big catch Moulds made, Reed made 10. Moulds keeps dropping too many easy passes. 8.75 Mil Cap figure next year ? No way is he worth that.

Moulds hasn't had the luxury of having a good coach and a great system and team around him.

Agreed,,, I personally like Moulds but to answer this question one would have to place Reed in Moulds shoes or Vice Versa... All I know is without Moulds we would be in Deep Doo Doo... I do have an Autograph of Good Ole Andre Reed. I need one of MOulds now!!

i agree with all posts. I would love to see what Moulds could do in a real offense.

One thing I never remeber seeing Andre Reed do was drop pass. That seems to happen once a game with EMoulds

Reed easily.

Reed, hands down. He did however have the benefit of only having one QB (a good one at that) his whole career, where Moulds has had at least 5 (Flutie, Johnson, Bledsoe, Collins, Van Pelt)

Both are great...I will take Reed today because of the number of years he played. However, Moulds is the more skilled player and after he has played for 10+ years, I will mostly like be selecting him. Great question!!!

Moulds is more talented, but he drops balls and makes stupid mistakes at costly times. He's also inconsistant. Yes, Reed had more talent around him, but he also came up huge when necessary. He also didn't hurt us as often with stupid penalties at critical times. All players have mental lapses, but your leaders should do that much less often. I love Moulds as a player, but he's never been quite the guy that the home town fans feel he is. Reed was a top tier 1-A WR for many years. Moulds has that type of talent, but he's not a top-tier WR. I'd put him as a 1-B or 2 level guy.

Reed. He consistantly made big plays game in and game out for many many years. Moulds makes a big play every couple games and drops too many passes.

Right now Andre Reed is a Hall of Fame WR - book is still out on Eric Moulds

Plus, Reed had something like 10 consecutive years leading the Bills in receptions- Eric Moulds seems to have problems stringing together consecutive big years.

Mould's isn't playing like a bigtime probowl receiver lately, the great ones do,
I feel like I could rely on Reed much more than Moulds right now.
Please prove me wrong #80.
GO BILLS!

Definatly Reed.

I would have liked to seen Moulds spend his career with a HOF QB though :/

Might have made it much closer.

Reed. I think Moulds was a flash in the pan.

Reed. I think Moulds was a flash in the pan.

Well, I don't really agree with that, but I can see where Reed was more consistant. I think Moulds would have been amazing on those teams though.

Are there any stats that show dropped balls.....if so can we compare the two.

I would have to say the early 90's Reed  however I really like Moulds behind Henry he is my favorite player.

Depends on which Reed. The latter Reed was as useful as crap you wipe of bottom of your shoe but Moulds during the odd years has been a so-so WR.

Neither player (Moulds so far; his career is not over) deserves to be a 1st round Hall of Fame inductee.

Hands down Reed ... he may not be a lock for the HOF, but at least a case can be made.

Moulds is amazing, but he's not HOFer
