Terrible defense offsetting great offense in Kansas City
The problem for the Chiefs, who once were known for their gritty defenses, is that they now have a defense that is -- oh, how should we put it? -- well, they're pretty much grit-less.
The Chiefs, it must be said, are bad defensively. The worst. Someone in the past couple of weeks tagged the defense with this name: "The Swiss Chiefs."
If it weren't for the fact that the offense is more than holding up its end -- at 32.4 points a game, Kansas City is the highest-scoring team in the NFL -- this would be one pathetic team.
