Sebastian Janikowski would make me very confident on kickoffs and FG's.
I'm sure he will want huge $$.

Just wanted to add that the Cap may jump GREALY this year because fo a new deal (CBA?... i can't remember. i think itmight have had something to do with TV profits being massive.)

ANYWAY.... the point is they think it could jump all the way to 90 million! this would have a big impact on things i would think. not in a good way for us necessarily. i would think the cap cuts would be far less. plus teams that have been taggin players (Ogden, PAce Jones, Woodson, McAlister) would be able to either tag them again or sign them long term.

My feeling is that unless a team no longer wants a player or the player really wants out badly, they will stay put. So teams that are already good can stay good and teams that need new blood will have less options in FA.

Jonas Jennings and Nate Clements

Clements isn't until 2005.... Jennings is though.

TV deal expires in 2005, the cap jump will take place in 2006.

We need to spend some $$$$ on some new o-lineman. By far, we have the worst o line in the whole NFL. It just pains me to watch this unit play.

Donahoe and Bledsoe ... well at least I hope so.

Id like to see us spend or 2nd round pick on a new DE, and I know all of you are saying not again, but this kid out of ND Justin Tuck is an amazing athlete, pass rush specialist. Has 4-5 pass rush moves. If you get a chance to watch a ND this season look for him he's #44. Plus he plays really well against the run too...No telling yet on his draft posistion but it looks to be late 1st-early 3rd

I haven't started to think about the draft and who might be availble, but if that 2nd rounder is our first pick this year, I really hope there's a guard worth drafting. I think we're pretty tight against the cap, or at least will be once Jennings (or a replacement) is signed, so I see that 2nd rounder as very important to improving our OL.

NO....Im willing to wait on Kelsay and not give up on him after 2 games.

Jets have many solid free agents next year..... OT Kareem McKenzie(Would be a great signing if Jennings leaves or Williams is moved to guard), DE John Abraham, DE Shaun Ellis, RB Lamant Jordan, TE Anthony Becht, DT Josh Evans.

The real question is why would a free agent with any talent want to join this mess ??

You must not have watched the Miami/Cinci game. Miamis is as bad if not worse than ours.

Stick Drew Bledsoe behind it and you'll laugh your ass off.

Our O-Line isn't bad by any means, if not for Drew this line would be considered an average unit.

Drew's "slowness" kills the offense and offensive line as a whole.
