I would change the first super bowl, have them drive closer, or have Kelly throw the ball to McKeller for the game winner. (or Reed)

I concur but another interesting one would be reversal of "Illegal Forward Pass" and see what would have happened in the subsequent playoff games

If we had won that 1st SB, I wonder if we would've gone back 3 more times.

I would have had us winning the 4th superbowl. Would have been a much greater story than winning the first.

Who would have cared? We would have been world champs, we would all be able to die happy.

To win just 1 of those Superbowls......they would have called us a great dynasty if we couldnt win the first 3 but finally pulled it off in the 4th.

way too many variables...Rob Johnson might still be our QB.

how do you know...maybe they beat Tenn and go on to the SB and RJ pulls his head out of his ass and actually makes a career out of it...Wade and RJ still here!! Could you imagine that?

Erase the fumble to start the second half by Thurman that was returned for a TD in the fourth SB. If we drove for a score there, there's a good chance we would have won that game.

No I cant.

Flutie put them in that situation and was screwed. RJ would have been hurt in the next game. I cant honestly remember RJ playing 4 full games in a row so I dont know how he could have pulled it off throughout the entire playoffs.

the norwood kick....without a doubt.

The 1966 AFL Championship Game. We defeat Kansas City 31-7, and go on to defeat the Packers in Super Bowl I. Tom Sestak is game MVP.

Lamonica is not traded to the Raiders, and remains the Bills Starting QB until they draft Ferguson in 1973.

Saban stays on until 1976, and makes the playoffs in 67, 69, 70, and 72-74.

The trophy is officially named the Kalsu.

Lombardi is just another dead guy.

Bills: Wide Right-no doubt about it
Sabres: NO GOAL!

Wade's record: 29-19
GW+MM's record: 17-33

I can imagine it, yes. :sigh:

Why temp fate more? Just have Norwood make the kick like he should have.

cause a 47-yarder is no chip shot..especially for someone who wasn't known for leg strength

How about, Ronnie Harmon hangs on to the Ball and scores in 1988 (?). Maybe we win Super Bowl 23.

How about "Draft Brett Favre" in 1991 instead of Henry Jones?

Pencil in 2-3 more super bowl trips (1995, 1998, 1999)

I agree but the title of the thread was Bills Game...not Bills moment in history.

Norwood, and I'm not even a Bills fan.

Tough moment there (dont like any of the 4 teams in the NFC East anyhow)

How bout finding a chaperone f/ a certain running back who was so busy
playing w/ LT's working girls that he couldn't even remember his helmet to
start off the game. If he had been awake Norwoods Kick wouldn't even have mattered.

We had a HOF QB that played for 5 more years. I don't think Favre would have still been around, but it would have been nice to dream.

You know, if the Bills get the right call at the end of the first half and the Skins are flagged for pass interference, we still could have gotten a TD or at least a field goal. We would have had momentum, the Skins wouldn't have been drilling our WRs for the rest of the game (some times before the ball got there again) and maybe we don't abandon the run quite so early.

No problem. Thurman had a combined 190 yards against the Giants that game and many felt that maybe we didn't use him ENOUGH in that game as well as many felt that HE should have been named game MVP.

In that final drive, Thomas was hit and fell before he could get to the sidelines. I believe that if he had kept his feet, he might have scored the winning TD on that play, just like he scored on a similar play earlier in the game. If Bruce could have only stripped Hostedtler of the ball in the end zone, it could have all been moot.

I think that might have been 89. I think 88 was when we lost to the Bengals in the AFC Championship.
