Old friend Szabo could give Buffalo an edge

Odd as it may sound, Buffalo’s secret weapon against the Patriots could be a 61-year-old Vietnam vet who wasn’t played football in over four decades.

Steve Szabo, a volunteer coach for the Patriots last season, is now the defensive backs coach in Buffalo -- hired in the offseason by Mike Mularkey, who was named the 13th coach in Bills’ history on Jan. 14.

After helping formulate the game plan for the defending Super Bowl champions, Szabo brought his knowledge of Bill Belichick’s system to Buffalo, a division rival focused on ending New England’s 17-game win streak. Szabo knows everything the Patriots did last year and probably still knows most of the terminology currently being used.

    It can't hurt.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

They can change the terminology, but its the look of the defense and the tendencys that they can't change. If the offense (Drew) can read the coverage or blitz when we come to the line we will have atleast a little advantage.
