In all seriousness, I say give him a shot as the FG kicker too. We know he has a leg.

Great point. Think about this.... when you kick a FG, you are on the other teams' side of the field (unlike punts). That makes fake FGs even more attractive since it is less dangerous if it screws up.

If he could hit a FG- or kick off for that matter- wouldn't he have done so by now? Wouldn't Mikey have reported it from camp?

                      MORE Mooreman

I'd like to see if he could reach the endzone on a kickoff, it's been a while since we've had that pleasure.

actually, didn't he do kickoffs in his rookie season?

I think that's too much duty for one leg to handle...he did do kickoffs in his rookie season and the leg started to go south later in the season.

if our offense starts to move the ball better and not put us into so many punt situations...then maybe he could do kickoffs as well. but as of now, he gets enough work as it is

Not since Tasker have I been this excited about our special teams. With Moorman out there you never know what to expect. Loved his pass. The longest by a non QB Bill since Mohr.
