Hopefully, we see more of Coy Wire on special teams. I want him out there, taking people's heads off.

say it with me...restricted free agent Coy Wire...given the minimum tender and told to be in camp in July.

The beginning of the end for Coy. A hard worker and all but seems like he can't overcome his limitations.

I know Wire has ambitions of being an NFL regular as a safety. If he insists on holding on to that, he's going to be disappointed. If he learns to be content as a backup safety and a special teams demon, and be compensated accordingly, then he can have a long career as such, heir apparent to Steve Tasker. That's not such a bad thing.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

I am sure we are happy and we all know it truly can't get any worse so change is good.

No doubt. I think that he is rather under rated and was lost in the mix once Milloy came in.

Isn't it a good thing we still have Prioleau on the team? I know many here were saying he sucked and wanted him cut in the preseason.

PP should have been the backup SS from day 1.. His play at safety a couple of years ago was light years ahead of CW.

He has instincts, pressures the opposing QB when Blitzing and he plays with controlled aggression.
