Well, finally I have rec'd contract details for Evans and Losman. I wanna thank AdamJT13 from KFFL for his help.

-Losman got a five-year deal (check NFLPA.org for his base salaries).
He got an $848,000 roster bonus on Aug. 10 and no signing bonus. He has a
$4.17 million option bonus due next year and a $568,500 option bonus due in
2006. He has escalators that could raise his base salaries to $2.5 million
in 2005, $3.75 million in 2006 and $5 million in 2007. He has an NLTBE
incentive that will pay him $125,000 per playoff win, up to a maximum of $1
million over the life of the contract. (I don't know if has has to start or
play in those games to earn the incentive.) He also has NLTBE incentives of
$1.025 million this season and $900,000 in each of the other seasons for
such things as statistics, making the Pro Bowl and other "honors." I don't
have the specifics on those.

-Evans' six-year deal (with the sixth year voidable) includes a signing
bonus of $2.25 million, an Aug. 10 roster bonus of $695,000 and a $4.225
million option bonus due in 2005. He has a $300,000 NLTBE bonus that he can
earn in any season of his contract -- but only one time -- that is based on
achieving a minimum playing time and an unspecified "qualifier." He also has
NLTBE incentives for statistics, Pro Bowls and other "honors" -- $950,000
this season and $650,000 in each of the other seasons

Now the 2004 breakdown follows:

Evans: Salary($230,000), Amortized bonus($375,000), Roster bonus($695,000) Cap Hit: $1.3 million

Losman: Salary($230,000) plus roster bonus($848,000) Cap Hit: $1.078 million

Anderson: Salary($230,000) plus amortized bonus($177,333) Cap Hit: $407,333

Euhus: Salary($230,000) plus amortized bonus($337,167) Cap Hit:$337,167

McFarland: Salary($230,000) plus amortized bonus($14,150) Cap Hit: $244,150

J. Smith: Salary($230,000) plus amortized bonus($12,917) Cap Hit: $242,917

Add the cap hits: $3,609,567

Per Len P of ESPN: Bills rookie cap was $3,640,573

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/story?columnist=pasquarelli_len&id=1792396

That leaves only $31,006. It was reported that the Bills had only about $1,000 remaining once Evans and Losman were signed, thus approx. $30,000 of cap space was used on the rookie FAs like Baker, Ritzmann, among others...if the $1,000 figure is correct.
