Apparently Ron Edwards was extended 1 yr and is now signed thru 2005. He was given the minimum tender of $628,000 as an RFA. He is listed at www.nflpa.org as signed in 2005 for $1 million
Has anyone heard of this on the news, radio, etc?
2004 628000.00
2005 1000000.00

It is to give pressure on Pat Williams to extend. Williams signs and they trade or cut him if they need money.

Ron Edwards isn't great but he's far from being a pile of horse crap. He's a very servicable backup and guy to have on the team if he comes cheap(which he did)
We could be a lot worse off.

Don't blame it on me!
