Drew Brees is not getting it done for the Chargers. This week against the Rams he was 12 0f 20 for 139 yards and 0TDs 2 Int.

Against the Jets the week before 22 of 35, 192 yards, 1TD, 2Int,1 Fumble.

San Diego needs a spark. If they dont do something fast their season will end like last years.

Could Flutie possibly be the spark they need?

I dont think Darren Flutie is good enough to come in from the CFL and take over an NFL team. :D

Yup- I agree. Flutie's Michael Vick-esque style would be a major spark for the Chargers that they need right now.

They are 6-3!!!!!!!! thats better than us, and i dont hear anyone calling for Bledsoe's head. And their defense lost that St. Louis game for them. (They also almost won it, they got 2 TD's i think)

I think I'd take my chances with Brees. Brees doesn't look half as bad as Flutie did last year, and Flutie isn't getting any better.

Well they better try somethin. Every team is gearin up to take ****s at Tomlinson, they better either get out of the habit of runnin him 50 times a game, or with the rest if their schedule, I dont think they will make the playoffs

Brees sucks, IMO. I think he will be the starter next, and then lose the job the next. He was getting way to much credit for their early success.

Everyone talks about them getting a great deal. Please. I would take Vick over the two of them any day. Who is to say that they couldn't have got a solid RB in the 2nd round. Just like the Panthers didn't do with Peppers, you shouldn't F around when you can get a "revolutionary" type of player
