He did exactly what was asked of him, handing the ball off and mixing in a couple long bombs downfield. Bledsoe was 16/29 for 197 yards and threw 2 touchdowns and 1 interception. The interception was at the very final seconds of the game in a desperation attempt, and really didn’t do anything. He did miss on a few passes, under throwing or overthrowing the receivers. However, he brought the team back in the 4th quarter to take a 14-13 lead with 6 minutes to go. If only the defense could’ve held on.
Grade: B

Running Backs: Travis Henry struggled against a tough Jets defense and only ran 12 times for 33 yards. He did not receive any help from the offensive line. However, Willis McGahee came in and converted three, 3rd down plays, including a 3rd and 9, where he ran for 21 yards on a sweep. He finished the game with 8 carries for 42 yards, and impressed many people. Daimon Shelton caught 2 passes for 22 yards and made some nice blocks for the backs.
Grade: C+ CLICK HERE FOR MORE... Good writeup. If our offensive line deserved a C+ for that game ... what would constitute a D performance?

Mike, nice write up, but I would have to say that you were a tad too generous with the grading.

Generous? Those two drives is what raised the grades on all the offense and I felt the defense wasn't really that bad, especially after looking at stats and seeing all the tackles some people had and remembering the pass rush. They did make Pennington do stupid stuff and thats not easy.

The offensive line got a C+ because they sucked for most of the game, but had two GREAT drives.

Good job, Mikey. I would have given the secondary an F, however, for Prioleau's giving them 50 yards on an 80 yard drive, and the unit's complete failure on the FG-winning drive. Someone on this defense needs to be held accountable for allowing late, game winning 4th quarter drives every friggin' week.

I really believe Prioleau got screwed on that PI penalty and it was a weak call. That's why I didn't lower it much more.

It just seems that there are too many high grades for a team that lost.
