AMERICAN forces may have breached human rights and then removed evidence after the so-called wedding party airstrike that killed more than 50 Afghan civilians this month, according to a draft United Nations report seen by The Times.
A preliminary UN investigation has found no corroboration of American claims that its aircraft were fired on from the ground, and says there were discrepancies in US accounts of what happened.

If the findings are upheld by a second, more detailed, UN investigation, they will cause huge embarrassment to the Pentagon.

UN sources said that the findings pointed to an American cover-up, and suggested that American investigators were dragging their feet hoping that the issue would pass.

It's absolutely ludicrous to think that ZERO civilians will be injured in the WAR against terrorism. It's a freaking WAR!! This is why I hate the news media. They sensationalize every little thing. When one civilian dies, it's front page news. Granted, we should not kill civilians on purpose, but it's destined to happen in any war.

In general, it's been awfully quiet over there. Wonder what we are up to?

The Canadians arrived home yesterday.
That's why it got quiet all of a sudden.

It's a good thing they're home, now the Americans can't kill any more of them.

And there is a cover up going on in the bombing of the canadians, there was a complete comunications breakdown and the pilots are going to get blamed for everything, even our own goverment is also trying to help the americans cover it up.

We protect Canadian behinds constantly. You would still be property of the stuck-up French if not for us. The way I look at it...you owed us a little target practice.
