    How 'bout that Kevin Gilbride?

Giants aren't looking too bad currently. Not saying ol' Kev is the main reason but looks like he's a factor.

Now if they nosedive midseason, it will be dejavu all over again!

He looked good his first 10 games with us, too. Then he didn't change anything when defenses adjusted. I agree, let's give him a few more games and watch for a nosedive. Maybe they will survive, though, if he isn't calling plays.

BTW, I was watching the Comeback on ESPN today, and they criticized the Oilers for being conservative offensively in the 4th quarter, especially after they fell behind. Once they got near field goal range, they seemed content to take the game to OT. That's OT against SEVEN (or more?) PRO BOWLERS, AT the RICH, in JANUARY, in the PLAYOFFS, with the Bills on a HUGE emotional high. Seems Gilbride has always had a knack for getting things not-quite-right.

Coughlin doesn't let go of Gilbride's leash. They had success together in Jacksonville, too. Gilbride's not a terrible football coach until he has too much responsibility. He sucked with us calling the plays and he sucked as a head coach.
