    Vinny Testaverde Injures Hand

I just heard a report on the radio. Vinny left practice with an injured hand.

Herm to address media a little later. Maybe we'll see Chad in the opener.

Neither scares me either. Vinnie has been washed up for the last couple of seasons and it seems everyone knows it except for Herm Edwards. His insistence at playing him come hell or high water has stunted Pennington's development, IMO.

IF Pennington starts getting some real gametime experience, he could be pretty deadly. He's still got a ways to go though.

Yes! Jets in Sept. w/Chad. Early in the season, Although you guys are right if Vinny was to start there may be more INT's. I second that,... Neither scares me

P.S. I forgot to mention that I seen somewhere that Pennington could not beat out Vinny.....kind of makes you think.

I heard it's just a jammed thumb. Probably not too serious.

still 6 weeks til the opener...he could have a small fracture and still play by then

it's just Vinny. It's not like we are talking about if Curtis Martin got injured. It would be harder for teams to prepare for Chad since there isn't a lot of tape to study. Like Eb states we are still 6 weeks away from the start of the season.

Yeah, but he opens the door for Chad. My guess is unless Chad really blows, he might have the job.

I personally see us starting the season off with a W....and I think we are going to need it because the first half of our schedule is rough

If VT can play there is no way that Chad starts....what this does though is give Chad a chance to get his feet wet...very needed at this stage.

I thinking that Jet fans may be getting a little scared about their QB prospects this year: a fragile old man, and a kid who doesn't have enough smarts to learn the offence.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.
