AUDIO: Bobby Shaw's agent with Howard Simon

    Shaw's Agent Audio

He doesn't say very much... but Shaw was released - no trade attempt was apparently made. Bills told him that the 'team is moving in another direction.'

DOESNT SAY MUCH! That speaks volumes.... we lost a productive offesive player, and gained nothing. I hear you loud and clear Donahoe
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
      It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

I totally agree. Especially after listening to the interview. I bet he was having some fights with Mularkey or Clements.

Honestly man, at this point it wouldn't surprise me one bit if Henry gets dealt before the deadline next week.

I agree. I think we'll see Willis McGahee this weekend starting and he'll easily take over and will force their hand for trading Travis Henry.

Agreed. Desperate times call for desperate measures. Logic sometimes does not follow...

For what? What could we possible get in return for Travis that could help us THIS season. If the result doesn't help us THIS season, than it would be foolish to trade him until the off-season, if ever.
Still searching for that offensive rhythm.

I disagree. It may be the best time to trade Travis Henry NOW. If we wait til the end of the year, Henry's value will go down.
