Don't tell Valerie. She may try to make it in her new crock pot.

I don't think I'd be opposed to Dusty coming back. Why isn't he with a team right now?

Didn't Ziegler play center when the Giants went to the SB a few years ago?

Sweet! That could explain the extra roster spot. i like this move. I was always ticked that Ziegler left us, but he was a good OL.

I'd be really suprised if he signs. I'm sure Ziegler still has personal ties in Buffalo and couldn't it be possible that he was just stopping by to say hello to an old coach?

Bigger question is why isn't he playing for anyone? There is a tremendous shortage of OL this year, so much so that many have been called out of retirement.

How did Zeigler leave NY? Retired? Cut? Healthy?

Let's trade for Jerry Rice, too, so we can add a few more bodies to our "Over-the-Hill Gang."
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
