Drew Tate a college SO, would better lead the Bills.

I was screaming at my very tolerable wife time and time again yesterday after he led my Hawkeyes over Her Buckeyes 33-7.

This guy is a Flutie with an arm. I hated Flutie.

I like this QB better than any I have see since Jimbo.

Well, we have JP, so it's all a moot point anyway.

I think JP will be a good pick for us. Hopefully he gets some playing time this season so he can start next year.

I think JP is the next Brett Favre if we can build the right line for him. Different than Big Ben or Rivers. Cocky, even arrogant with a canon for an arm.

Golf handicaps are the same world wide.

What you shoot for a round? 100? 90?

I was shooting mid 80's by season's end. My goal next year is to get to low 80's/high 70's :D

I live on Timber Ridge Golf Course. Voted as the Best value in all of Ontario for the last year, I have played 3 times this year shot a 87, 93, and 95. This is a very difficult course to play on. Undulation all over the place. The greens are very diff.

Very, very nice course. Only about 3 years old. But one of the best I have ever played on.

Not a biased opinion, you can search the course on the net and see for yourself.

Whatcha driving off the tee? 300?

Typically my drives are all over the place. I can drive 300, but only on a nice swing. My irons and short game is pretty decent. ( I live on the second green) My tee game is bad, really bad, typically I am hitting the 5 wood from just past the ladies tee scrambling for a bogie.

That is my game in a nutshell.

About 1 per hole worsr than Tiger. But scrambling just the same;

I can crush my drives. 300 yards + easy. Fairway 4 iron, 200 yards. My weakness is my short game. I always seem to find a way to take 3 chips just to get on the green. :wail:

As a golfer, I don't understand that last sentence after reading the first part of your post. LOL! But My tee-shots are my best and 250 isn't bad for a girl like me from the ladies tee. I could prolly keep up with ya! :D You & your wife, AWM & I should go play some time!

OMG! My favorite fairway iron is my 3. I've gone that far with it. Unfortunately, my short game sucks too. I can chip on, but my putting is atrocious (sp).

I'm gonna try a 2 iron next year. I hit my low irons really well and I would like to have a club that went a little farther than my 3 iron for those in between tee shots. I NEVER use my 5 wood. Just don't like it for some reason so why not use a 2 iron instead?

See the mental block comes in with the driver.

I cn Crush it when I hit it well. When it comes to the irons I can take a normal swing and am fine with it.

I can smoke my 3 wood if I'm in the fairway. I hit it an easy 225-250, so it really only does me good on par 5's. If I'm 200 or less, I'm swinging irons.

Depending on the ydage, I'll tee off with a 1,3, or 5 wood. :; I use mens clubs. But that's not surprising since I use a 20-21 oz cue when I shoot pool and the heaviest darts for dart games. I guess I'm a slammer!

I use a set of Dunlap Pro-Staffs for my irons and fairway woods. Used to have a set of Titleist DCI's but I could actually hit the ones I use now farther. :idunno:

My driver is a $50 Top-Flight that I can outdrive all my golf buddies with their $400 Big Bertha's with. Man it pisses them off when I rub that in. :snicker:

LOL!!! Speaking of darts...I was at the legion Friday night with my kids and my Mom and some gal was shooting steel tips. I walked on over and asked her if she wanted to play. I haven't shot steel tips in almost 10 years, mind you. Cntry's dart threads just had me in the mood.

Well, three 501 games later and about 4 "tons" and three wins, she was asking for my phone number as a sub for her team. And I even used her darts. :D

I don't even carry a 2 iron. I have 3, 5 and 7 woods in my bag. I carry a 3 iron only for low punch shots from out of the woods (which unfortunately is way too often!)

I'm adding an "A" wedge this year as well. Hopefully I don't have to take 1/4 swings with my P wedge anymore which is what I suck at. I nice easy half swing with an "A" wedge should shave 4-5 strokes off my game I hope.
