Travis Henry's trade value??

According to Paul Hamilton the potential trade value for Travis Henry is no more than a conditional second. This is based on what NE gave up for Corey Dillon. You have to ask if Henry is better than Dillon and he feels the answer is no.

I agree then at least we will have 2 second Round picks next year, so if thats what we have to do we might as well do it.

I don't know if it's fair to compare the two, 1 Dillon was a head case in cincy and a cancer to the lockeroom, sure he was talenetd but his personal life affected his trade value where TH is a warrior and a team player but with all that said he can still only garner a 2nd rounder maybe a 2nd and a late rounder 6 or 7.

It also looks like there should be a fair amount of RB's available next offseason, unlike this year.

We've got Henry.
At some point in time, the Jets are going to have to choose between Jordan and Martin.
Cleveland has Green and Suggs. One will probably go.
Denver will always have someone available for the right price.
Dayne is a free agent (garbage, but someone will take him).
Anthony Thomas is probably going to be available from Chicago.
Davenport and Green in GB will be split up at some point in time.

I'm not sure who are free agents either.

I don't expect all of them to move, but they'll all be used as bargaining chips for the buyers.

Not to mention some of the RBs from the upcoming draft. In particular, Carnel Williams looks to be a lock as a top5 pick.
In anycase, I doubt we get anything better than a 2nd rounder for Henry.
