I dread third downs. I was joking with my friends saying the other teams should just forgive 1st and 2nd down and go straight to 3rd down.

Can't blame them, this is a top 5 defense when healthy.. I have been impressed with the way Gray has managed to defuse this Adams situation.

Bend but don't break. Very annoying. It seems like we give up 600 yards and every 3rd down but at the end of the game the other team only has 13 points. It's crazy

1. 13
2. 13
3. 24
4. 16
5. 13

Not bad numbers.

I believe the average is under 280/game?

You did catch that the 600 was exaggeration right?

No you misunderstood me. I agree 100% with you. I hate it. It gets the job done in the end but it drives you to drink.

I agree with you I'm sitting in the stands yelling at our DB's to turn around and look for the ball or perhaps they could play a little bump & run at the line of scrimmage..

Must have got it from the wonderful job he has done in the last few weeks.:rolleyes: I am so :curse:ing tired of seeing our DBs lined up 15 yards off the receiver when it is 3rd an short.:puke:

I'm tired of TEs wide open in the endzone...

Of seeing Crowell in the Goal Line Defense...

Of seeing Fletcher and Spikes stuck covering WRs 30 yds downfield...

Of WRs catching long passes down the middle with nary a safety in sight.

i am willing to see how the defense looks with vincent and milloy back in there.

we blitz alot.. i just wish our dline would be "allowed" to get after the passer more.

I liked the fact that we retained him this offseason over LeBeau ... however, I don't see what he has done to deserve a contract extension. Is it the 4th quarter leads that we've given up this year? Or maybe it's all the turnovers we've created? Or it could be our great 3rd down % like everyone says?

It looks like some people have some crow to eat. Jerry Gray's extension was PERFECT timing by Donahoe.

I think Shannon Sharpe was saying that Miami should interview Jerry Gray, Cromell, or Cottrell for their coaching job.

I have a feeling Gray might be out in a year or two. Ashame too, he's been great for us. I used to hate him, but he's come a long way.

His 2nd half adjustments are among the best in the league.
