Well we should have a Buffalo as a mascot but billy is just gay, even the name BILLY....

It should be Brutus the Buffalo who kicks ass first takes names later, then he goes home gets drunk and has his girl make him a sandwich.

No offense ladies but Billy is a little turd, we need a rugged mascot who always has a 5 oclock shadow.

Billy Buffalo began his first year as an official NFL Mascot in 2000. He made his debut for the Buffalo Bills in their home opener against the Tennessee Titans. (http://buffalobills.com/fans/BillyBuffalo.jsp) I can't find the article about how the actual buffalo was made our mascot. If I remember right, he was found in Florida (outside Kissimmee) by a Bills fan living down there. Blue buffalo's are even more rare than white ones. I'll have to look for the article when I get back from town later this afternoon. Unless of course, Phil or Mikey wants to show off their vast skills/knowledge of digging up Bills info. :D
