    Any Joe Cribbs fans?

Man, when I was a kid I was a huge Joe Cribbs fan. That guy could do just about everything on the field. Why did he have to go to the USFL? After that the guy was done.

On the field he was an excellent player- good runner and excellent threat out of the backfield.

Off the field he was a pain in the ass. He held out year after year, and even held out of the USFL when he jumped ship.

I was a big Cribbs fan as a kid too. I got to meet most of the team after a preseason practice in 1982. It is a great memory, but I still remember being somewhat upset because Cribbs was holding out, so I didn't get to meet him. Joe Ferguson and Chuck Knox were both awesome. I was just 7 and they took time out to talk, take pictures, and sign autographs.
