    M & M/ Pro Bowl Treat

Moorman looks like the top Punter in the AFC with the weather conditions he has to deal with up in Buffalo, the temperature and rain along with the wind makes his punting performances that much more impressive.

McGee has been this years version of Dante Hall and has been able to give the Bills excellent field position all season and was a key component in the Bills win over the Cards Sunday.

With the consistency these two Special Teams players have performed with this season they appear to be the two favorites at their positions to represent the AFC and the bills in this years Pro Bowl.

Too early to tell, but they each have a chance.

Dante Hall had his position on the Honolulu Flight by week 8, thats the season's halfway Point.

With Moormans improvisational skills at the seasons start I'd give him the high road.. even though he may not have the best #s he adds more than just a stronge leg.

Who is more effective in the League in KO returns?

If it wasn't for the holding calls this year McGee's #'s would really look impressive.

How many has he had called back this year?

Aside from Tim Dwight McGee's only other competition will be fighting off the Ghost of Dante Hall, Hall isn't in the top five but people might tend to give him credit from last year in this years Voting.

Here is another great example of how rankings LIE!

With 6 fewer returns than McGee, Cox is averaging .9 yards more per return.

Not an apples to apples comparison. Additionally, McGee has TWO TDs....to Cox's 0.

Anyone who can read can see that McGee, to this point in the season, is the class of the league in kick returns.

Let's just hope he keeps it up.

Not a big coincidence that Special Teams much better this year with some of our most talented players (Fletcher, etc) out there making big plays.

I think once Vincint is healthy that McGee should be the return specialist on Punt and KO.. Before Nate gets hurt like Reed did this game.

Punt and KO returns involve the same skills, the return man needs vision and he also needs good blocking.

They're almost the same skills, but not exactly. Punting requires more "dancing" ability because usually the first guy is about to hit you when you catch the ball. KO returns, on the other hand, are about speed and vision because you have a chance to build up speed and momentum over 10-15 yards -- you have to be able to see where the hole is by that point.

It's kind of like the difference between punting and PK/Kicking off. It seems like one guy can do it, but it's not true.

Also, don't compare McGee to Dante Hall last year. Hall was a consistent game-breaker the first half of the year. That's why he had his ticket punched by week 8. You could argue that the punk who played for the jets that beat us twice (Morton) was even better than Hall by the end of the year, but Hall blew the league away the first few weeks. McGee, if things hold to form, should get the nod. But he hasn't earned it yet. Not by a long shot.

                      Agreed.

Dante was spectacular the first few weeks. There were even vote for the MVP polls, and he was in them. Says alot for a returner.

I can see McGee increasing that 28.0 ypr, breaking 1 or 2 more this season and solidifying the AFC Pro-Bowl slot.
