View Full Version : Fat Tony's $2000 BFZ FFL Championship Tournament

Welcome to Fat Tony's ultimate BFZ FFL tournament of champions!


It will be the ultimate FFL tournament to determine the overall BillsZone FFL king. And the winner gets $1500 of Fat Tony's Zonebucks, and the runner up will get $500.



Starting week 12, the leaders of their respective divisions in both leagues (6 teams total), as well as the wild card (2 teams) from each league, will recieve a bye in the first round. ( 8 teams total) These teams will be seeded #1-8

The remaining 16 teams will be seeded in an NCAA Tournament style bracket in a single elimination tourney. After round 1, the bye week teams will be added. There will be a total of 5 rounds, running weeks 12 thru 16.

Seeding will be determined on the following Criteria-

Seeds 1-6 Division leaders
1) Record
2) Point total YTD
3) Record within their division

Seeds 7-8 Wild Cards
1) Record
2) Point total YTD
3) Record within their division

Seeds 9-24
1) Record
2) Point total YTD
3) Record within their division
ADDITIONAL SEEDUNG CONSIDERATIONS WILL BE MADE FOR MULTIPLE TEAM OWNERS

This tournament will run simultaneous to the end of the regular season/ playoffs of both leagues involved.

It also gives a second chance to a lot of teams who's seasons were dashed by injury.

This was brought this up with the commissioner of your league at the start of the season. The Idea of this mega tourney was hatched in August, but you can't play apples vs oranges.


The rules and scoring are not identical. If your league does not have the exact same amount of teams, roster sizes, and scoring rules, then it can't be done.

I have only listed the top 10 so far. The seeds and Bracket won't be released until after the conlusion of Monday Night Football this week.

The Tournament will run weeks 12, 13, 14, 15, & 16

Not likely....It has been decided thart multiple team owners will recieve special seeding considrations to prevent this....:D
