Week 8 Recap: Chumps take lead in Thomas Division!

Rundown: The Chumps put a fork in the depending champs. 43 points from Drew Brees??? That's not a misprint. The Tenacious D had two players with over twenty points, but so did the chumps, and when you add the impressive total from the San Diego QB, you get the high score of the week.

Goat: Randy Moss, Tenacious D, tortured owners with his second straight zero-point performance.
<o:p></o:p>Outlook: The Chumps jumped into a 3-way tie for first in the Thomas. The champs are 2-6.

Kardsharks (KARDSHARK19) 65
Rundown: Give credit to yle for not abandoning his struggling team. Makes for a much better fantasy experience for all of us. And lo and behold yle knocks off the Thomas division leader by a point! It wasn't a pretty win as only six combined players on both teams combined socred in double digits. The Kardsharks were hurt by Roy Williams, who was declared inactive about a half hour before gametime, obviously posted a goose egg.

Bench Warmers: Had the Kardsharks monitored the situation, they could have started Az Zahir Hakim. His nine points would have meant a win.

Rundown: The dingelberrys kept it rolling despite another tough outing from his leader, Daunte Culpepper. Culpepper scored just a dozen points, and threw just one touchdown for the second-straight week. They were able to do this because of the emergence of Willis McGahee (23 pts.) and the re-emergence of Rod Smith (28 points).
Bench Warmers: Mr. C picked the wrong Patriot receiver. He started David Patton (3 pts) over David Givens (23 pts.)
Hero: Smith
Goat: Patriots DST, Mr. C, ZERO
Outlook: Mr. C is at 3-5, just two games out of the wild card with 6 games to go. Let's hope they don't give up just yet. Dingleberries are also in that three-way tie for first in the Thomas.

Mikey82's Fat Pansies (MIKEY82) 83
Rundown: Make it two in a row for the Cows. It was a huge win as they took out the formidable Pansies. Shaun Alexander was a one-man show against the porous Carolina Defense, scoring 33 points.
Bench Warmers: Peerless Price, Cows, 18pts.
Hero: Alexander
Goat: Larry Fitzgerals, Pansies, OWNED by the Bills D
Outlook: The Cows lead their division by two, and now own the best record in the league. The Pansies STILL lead the Bruce Smith by two full games.

Rundown: The Streakers are on fire!! A solid pickup off waivers in Vinny Testaverde propelled them to a win over the meanb sharks. The Pittsburgh Steelers DST (26 pts.) also helped the Streakers with a dominating perfoamnce against the world champs.
