For the cheaters who look up answers, how many yards rushing did Thurman Thomas have against the Chiefs in the AFC Title game in January, 1994?

Was it more than Joe Cribbs' 1983 total? If not, it was close- Thurman ran all over the Chiefs that day.

I'll answer my own question:

from buffalobills.com-

Bills 30, Chiefs 13
Jan. 23, 1994
Rich Stadium
Attendance: 61,923

TEAM 1ST 2ND 3RD 4TH FINAL
CHIEFS 6 0 7 0 13
BILLS 7 13 0 10 30
The Buffalo Bills made history by becoming the only team ever to reach four consecutive Super Bowls with a solid, 30-13, victory over the Chiefs in the AFC Championship game. RB Thurman Thomas set a franchise record with 189 rushing yards on 33 carries and a club-record three TDs. ..

What did the quiz allege about Joe Cribbs? That he owns the record for yards against KC with 185? That'd be a WRONG answer!

I'm a cheater and damn proud of it. Here are Thurmo's stats in that 1993 AFC title game:

Rushing attempts: 33
Rushing yards: 186
Rushing TDs: 3
Receptions: 2
Reception yards: 22
Reception TDs: 0

I cheated and I still got 1 wrong!!!

Does it say regular season record? If it does, then it's TRUE. Othewise you're right, it'd be FALSE.

I think everyone should get a bonus point like we did last week. That'll give me 10 right!!! :D

I don't recall it specifically stating that it was a "regular season" record in the question. I couldn't go back into the quiz after I exited it to re-read the question.

C'mon quiz-maker! What do you have to say for yourself?!

No one makes the quizzes. They're done automatically by the message board. :D

Mr. Miyagi
11-14-2002, 01:19 PM
WHAT? Someone HAS to write up the questions. If LOG didn't, someone else did. The board itself couldn't have generated the questions all by itself.

Either way, I think we should be able to argue for an extra point for everyone.

We have a very smart message board. :D

I believe the question does specify regular season.

Actually, the question DOES state "regular season". Shucks!!!

The most rushing yards for a Bills player in a single regular season game against the Chiefs was Joe Cribbs in 1983 with 185.

I believe the playoff question record is wrong. I believe the Bills have a 14-14 record in playoff competition which is NOT BELOW .500.

LOG's quizzes kick ass. Can't make all of us suffer for the actions of a few.

This was my favorite one too. I have my first perfect score.
