just as we (including myself) have called for his head for terrible drafts, we must give him credit.

kelsay was an animal; willis is a much better back than travis; mcgee was a steal (although he didnt play that great today); lawyer was a great pickup; fletcher and tko r top notch.

contrary to many, i believe mike williams looked real good recently.

moreover, bledsoe was not sacked at all and looked good.

is it possible that we just needed 5 games to get used to the new coaches and get the o line gelling?

if so, then we are in business

I agree with all of that except for the McGee part. I wouldn't catagorize him as a steal although he is a really good return specialist. He is not ready for one-on-one coverage and was burned repeatedly by Moss and a couple times by McCareins. He hasn't figured out the decoy routes in zone coverage. I think he has tons of potential though.
I am extremely encouraged by what I saw today, especially the O-line and Willis. The fact that the Jets had no sacks is outstanding news for the O-line! Hats off to Jim McNally. Mike Williams certainly has been playing better and I hope he doesn't sit out long. I'm glad he's not seriously hurt.

We got a big win today, lots of encouraging signs. But because of the tough start games like next week, that noone expects us to win, becomes a must win. Can we do it? I think so but it will be very tough.

People need to get off TD's back. He knows what he's doing.
