BREAKING NEWS! Phins HC Wanny resigns!!!

    WOW.

Dave Wannstedt has reportedly resigned as head coach of the Dolphins. Reports from WSVN Channel 7 in Miami indicate that Wannstedt handed in his resignation tonight. After Sunday's last-second loss to the Cardinals, Wannstedt told the Sun-Sentinel, "I am so worn out right now, to be honest with you. Just drained from the game, and putting everything we had into the game. It's never been as hard to win a game." No interim coach has been named.

So any thoughts on a replacement down there? I thought I heard Steve Spurrier's name being brought up somewhere? Like he would really want to work for that miserable franchise.

I'm really suprised it took this long. He did not have a chance to make it through the year.

I hear it's the assistant coach Jim Bates, whoever the hell he is.

Man talk about bad breaks. First Dan Marino *****es out on them, then Ricky Williams... Kinda gives you the feeling that there is much more trouble down in Miami than just coaching.

I haven't found any other links yet, but it was apparently reported from a local TV news channel.
