So if Drew reverts to his usual away-game self and the game gets out of hand, do we see JP?

Definitely not. We may see Mathews but I doubt JP will get in there against the Pats.

Pats, Seahawks, Dolphins, it's not really going to make much difference imo... He should get playing time, if Bledsoe craps the bed that is...

No, They wont put in JP against the pats. Bill B would eat him alive!

This is probably the hardest game of the remainder of our schedule. Noone expects us to win. Dont yank Drew

I'd not even think about putting him in. I'd do this

Drew
Shane
Moorman
the Hotdog Vendor
Tom Clements
JP.

Give him some more time.

You forgot Travis Henry, he can pass too, remember the Miami game last year?..

Uhh wait, nevermind...

There is no way that JP comes in this game... if drew plays poorly I would go the route of Matthews and not think anything of it.. Matthews is a quality backup... he can come in and be fine for a game or two. Throwing JP to the wolves before he is ready physically would be a nightmare!!
Lets hope that there is never a doubt about Drew this Sunday night!!! He may come out and play the game of his life!!

Is there anyway we can see JP against the Rams?

I hope so, i have tickets for this game, i bought tickets for later games thinking we'll be in playoff contention and didn't fight for the Jacksonville, Miami, Jets or Miami tix, so i went for the later games. The first one is the Rams and i really don't want to see Bledsoe. lol

Id say the chances are likely if the game is out of hand or we are blowing them out.

WHEN bledsoe craps the bed.

You won't see Losman or Matthews. In fact all you're going to see is Willis McGahee.

Big Ben gave him indigestion!

Big Ben caused like some serious constipation and a bad case of hemorrhoids.

If Ben can do it to BB, then we better hope JP as well. However, I realize it is a different situation in that JP is coming off an injury. But that is the ONLY reason I don't see him getting in there. Otherwise....rookie-schmookie....you put him in.

He needs the reps and I have no doubt (IMO) that he would do at least as well as Drew if not better. Reason being BB wouldn't be able to blitz on every single down. I would like to see him in there, but I don't see it happening so soon after the injury recovery.

But I can still hope it happens. :;
