The Zone's Stephen Brandt takes a look at the all too brief career Joe Cribbs had with the Buffalo Bills.

One of the players I have been interested in was Joe Cribbs, the guy that filled the Juice’s shoes. How do you replace such a player of OJ's caliber? Follow him to two different teams. Cribbs wasn’t that great of a player, and isn’t in the Hall Of Fame, but he wasn’t a slouch either. He made some noise while playing for Buffalo.

Cribbs was an excellent back and recieving threat that had the potential to be a perrenial Pro-Bowler had things surrounding him in his short stint with the Bills gone different.

To make the Pro-Bowl as a rookie Running Back showed the type of potential he possessed.

Imagine what his career would have been like if he stayed with one team instead of bouncing around to the USFL, and other teams.

yeah, and he has said that he wouldn't have changed what had happened.
