Out of all the rookie coaches...

MM has the worst record. Even the Cardinals have won more games.

Most rookie coaches are in the NFC.

If we're in the NFC, no way we're 3-6.

We're atleast .500 in that pitiful conference.

Most of the coaches in the league had bad records their rookie season. Hell, Belichick looked like an idiot in cleveland.

very good point. Look at Atlanta. If we could beat up on N.O, T.B and Carolina twice a year, we would be 7-2 too.

Those teams would beat todays Bills though.

I agree MM so far is looking like the worst rookie coach. And i remember watching ESPN and CBS pre-game shows in Week 1 and they had "who will be the best rookie coach" and most experts said Mularkey.

Not every rookie coach will turn into something great so i love how people bring up great coaches who stuggled as rookies. But then again, not every rookie coach who stuggles is a horrid coach. Time will tell and Mularkey will be here for atleast next 2 seasons. I'll need to see one more season to make a view on him.

But for the question, who is the worst rookie coach, that honor definetly goes to MM.

Get rid of Drew and who knows what his record is now.

Your right, not every rookie HC that struggles turns out great, but success in the first season isnt a precursor to success in the future. Im just saying that of all the HCs in the league, i cannot think of one other than Bill Cowher that didnt struggle. And some people were calling for Bill Cowher to step down before this season because his team wasnt responding to him. Your right, time will tell.
