I think Ricky needs to be on that list, the year he ran for 1800 yards he def deserves to be on the list. Even though I now hate the guy, for quitting on his team, leaving us high and dry, the guy does have physical talent and was running people over when he wasn't being a head case.

And I know he played full back but you have to throw alstott on there because some games they treated him like a RB.

One good year doesn't put you on an all-time list of greatest power RB's.

Considering all the draft picks tossed away for this guy he should be put on a list for an all-time biggest busts for power RB's.

I would say he had more then 1 good year. He just didn't have a great year every year.

I would also dispute Dillon. He has never gotten over 1450 yards in a season, and has never gotten over 10 TD's. His next highest total besides the 2 times he reached 10 is 7.

One great year and the rest of them were average years that most starting RB's should get with 300 carries in a season.

The dude only rushed for over 1,500 yards once in his career, only had 10+ TD's in two of his years, and only averaged 4.0 ypc over his 5 years in the league.

Them numbers aren't worthy of 3 first round picks, a 2nd, 3rd, and a few others.

Most of the picks was Ditka, injuries in New Orleans slowed him down. But in a shorter time he had better #'s then Dillon put up in one season (just talking one season performance). Dillon never toped 1500, and never got over 10 TDs. One of the knocks on Dillon was that he does not have enough power to power the ball in down at the goalline.

I just did it b/c he was a power RB.

By that logic Ricky Williams deserves to be on that list more then Icky Woods. Eddie George was a very good sledgehammer for a number of years.

Earthquake stole my thunder, you bastad!

Yeah, Csonka too. I'm surprised a fin-fan didn't mention it. Bo Jackson was a monster. Franco Harris.

How about Herschel Walker. Dude moved the pile a lot.

I think with recent dudes like Dillon and Ricky "I want to hide in my locker" Williams you have to factor in the 16-game season thing. I'm not impressed with dudes going for 1,500 or 1,600 in 16 games. Almsot like they are pacing themselves. I think the old dudes in 12 and 14 game seasons had more incentive to run.

Having seen very little of Jim Brown I'll keep him at #1.

I would say Earl Campbell at #2 and Czonka at #3. Campbell was a freaking horse. He could be #1. Riggins might be #3 as well.

If you want to set the way back machine.... go with Floyd Little or Jim Nance too.

And there was another guy who is never given enough credit for the power he had....

There is no way that Ickey Woods should be on that list. He only had one good year. The Bus and Czonka should definitely be on the list. I think Jamal Lewis is more deserving than Dillon, and Emmit Smith wasn't really a "power back".

Christian Okoye was pretty bad a** until that safety from Denver decleated him.

There used to be a RB from SD, I think his name was Natrone Means, that I thought was pretty good, back in the early 90's, but he was out of the league in a few years.

Others I might put on my list:
1. Ricky Williams
2. Herchel Walker
3. John Riggins
4. Terrell Davis
5. Jerome Bettis
6. Bo Jackson

I have not seen or don't remember players like Jim Brown, Earl Campbell, etc. so I won't lie and say they were the best I ever seen.

i never said the list was perfect. i forgot about csonka and bo jackson to a certain extent. shame bo had to retire due to injury. was awesome to see him flatten bosworth. jamal lewis is a beast.

for my money earl campbell and john riggins were in a class by themselves.

Ricky Waters and Roger Craig were Power backs, even though they didn't Move the Pile, they used their leg strength to break tackles and fall foward.

Oh man. I remember Ricky Watters doing a little high step then lowering his shoulder to take on a defender. Anyways, I saw someone mention Means. I also remember Marion Butts from SD. I think he was pretty powerful too (if memory serves me correct).

What about Moe Williams for the Vikings. He's Mr. Goalline.

Maybe it was Marion Butts I am thinking of, good call, it was one of them.

I know Means was a power runner (I can still hear Berman yelling, "NATRONE MEANS BUSINESS!"). But I also think Butts was pretty powerful too.

Jamal Anderson for the Falcons is just as good as Ickey Woods.

I've seen clips of him running over people but I have never thought of Sweetness as a power running back.

I like most of them, but Franco Harris was a weenie who always ran out of bounds rather than take a hit.

I'd add Jim Nance, John Brockington and the "Human Bowling Ball," Charlie Toller.

That was horrible. I think that is the one thing most people remember about The Boz other than his hair. BO KNOWS!
