Yeah I agree Jay Hawk especially during the time JK still played I think Drews arm was much better.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
      It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

Randall Cunningham if your only considering past players.. But a few of the present players will go down on that list.

McNabb thew the ball 60 yards on the run Monday Night.. Culpepper is a beast.

Jim Kelly, Phil Simms, and Tom Brady do not belong on this list. They all had/have average arm strength.

Michael Vick has a strong arm. Not very accurate but strong.

Jeff George had a big arm, little head. David Klinger had a strong arm, little else.

John Elway by far had the strongest arm, he had a gun!!!!!

I would put Favre right behind him, he also has a cannon..

James Harris has the strongest arm I've ever seen. Probably Elway is second.

                      Both had cannons!!!

                      I'd put Elway first.

I think Kelly had a pretty strong arm. He just threw a very ugly deep ball. It hit the target most of the time, but it was rarely a spiral. Borderline end over end, actually. A nice 63 yard, wobbliest ball I've ever seen, TD pass was always reason to celebrate. Kurt Warner actually throws one of the prettiest balls I've ever seen (well, he did). He's just not a very good QB anymore. Brady has an average arm, like Simms did, Montana, etc. but like these guys, he's very accurate.

I have heard stories told by ex-NFL guys that Elway actually threw so hard, guys were afraid to catch the ball at times. Many players agree that Elway threw the hardest of any qb in his era. Other eras, I am not sure.
