I think Kelly had a pretty strong arm. He just threw a very ugly deep ball. It hit the target most of the time, but it was rarely a spiral. Borderline end over end, actually. A nice 63 yard, wobbliest ball I've ever seen, TD pass was always reason to celebrate. Kurt Warner actually throws one of the prettiest balls I've ever seen (well, he did). He's just not a very good QB anymore. Brady has an average arm, like Simms did, Montana, etc. but like these guys, he's very accurate.

I have heard stories told by ex-NFL guys that Elway actually threw so hard, guys were afraid to catch the ball at times. Many players agree that Elway threw the hardest of any qb in his era. Other eras, I am not sure.

Kyle Boller's arm is the same way. During the combine, he threw the ball 70 yards, through the goal posts, from a kneeling position.

Another young QB with a rocket is David Carr. I remember in his first season he fired a 50 yard laser beam to Corey Bradford. I had to watch the replay to make sure I wasn't dreaming.

On ESPN today, they were talking about that pass the other night (when DM scrambled East and West a couple of times, breaking tackles, then throwing a 60 yard pass to Freddie Mitchell) as possibly the best pass ever.
I remember turning on the game Monday night before going to bed. It was right before this play. I just watched it and laughed in amazement.

Tom Brady has one of the weaker arms in the NFL today- why is he on this list? He's a finess passer, he doesn't have very much power.
