The corn judging alone is worth the price of admission. There is one corn judge who absolutely humiliates the ugly corn. He repeatedly refers to them as "dreadful" and "awful". He calls them losers and brings the corn to tears. It's hilarious. They should really make a TV show out of it.

the corn fest is always a good time...regrettably, we will not be going this year...

ever watch them in the corn eating contest...how many ears can you pound??

There is a "Nice and Easy" store in Eden. One year they sponsored a girl in the Corn Festival Beauty Pageant. Yup, she was "Miss Nice and Easy".

I grew up in Eden. Not freaking Canada.

i miss the corn festival.you know that the Erie County Fair is right behind.i miss the demolition derbies.hell,i got stranded out there one year and had my dad pick me up at the old Red Barn.

Man the Erie County Fair...I used to work the sound and lighting there...what memories!

The demolotion derbys,..... The time I put out a fire on the roof of the main grandstand with a jar of pickle juice,...... making out with girls under the grandstand,..... the time a lady gave birth in the concession area of the Grandstands,..... the time Boxcar Willie called me an ***hole because I didn't get his spotlight just right, ...the time when the Oak Ridge Boys played there and I was thrown into duty as "Crowd Control" People handed me stuff for the OR Boy's to sign, so I just scribbled my name on the album cover and handed it back to them.... they didn't seem to care... all the garbage food you can eat....Sleeping under trucks.... Motorcycle races...

Corn festival?? That sounds like something they would do here. Maybe in Mitchell at the Corn Palace. Hmmmm..... I may be on to something here :D

The corn fest is like any other town carnival...parade, softball, baseball, rides, games, corn eating contests....and 25 cent ears of corn...
