I currently stand 5 ft. 8 1/2" tall and weigh 145 lbs. I would absolutely love to be down to 125 lbs. for our delayed honeymoon in March. I intend to start tomorrow, and I intend to make it through Christmas junk food season w/o cracking. :nervous: :laughter: I'm not really worried because once my mind is made up I'm pretty good at meeting goals, but any and all support along the way would be HUGELY appreciated.

Profile Pros: I eat lots of salads, fruits, and veggies, and am not big on sweets.

Profile Cons: I'm a sucker for bread, cheese, and potatoes (including potato chips, eek!) Cutting these out entirely (which I intend to do until the diet is over) will be my biggest struggle.

Ummmm, if I were 5' 8 1/2" tall and weighed 145 pounds I wouldn't be complainin'. I am 5'4" (almost) and have no clue what I weigh, but it's nowhere near 145. Count your blessin's, girl. I'm totally serious. If someone wants you to lose weight - you lose weight, about 185 pounds of who gives a crap. :snicker: :jk:

I hope you didn't take that seriously.

:D You're funny, honey (hey, that rhymes :funny: ). I was very happy and comfortable at 125 lbs. I've been 145 for a couple of years now, and I'm really not happy with it, so it's time to do something about it. What better motivation that a honeymoon? :bad:

P.S. Just a forewarning, I will prolly whine incessantly about missing the aforementioned foods for awhile. lol

The good thing that might come out of this, besides losing the weight, is that I might actually create a permanent change in my eating habits. Once you hit your 30's preventative health care does become a thought, and eating healthy is a big part of that. In any case, it couldn't hurt. :star:
