Priest is done for the year

    from his website..

    A Message From Priest

    To all Fantasy Football Players:

Hey, everyone! I hope your 2004 season went a little better than mine. If you had me on your team, I am sorry to have disappointed you with the news of my knee injury and not being able to finish out the season. I hope with my absence you were still able to rack up the points.

Best wishes to all of you and much success!
hope you got his backup.. if not.. your done for the fantasy playoffs too...

I love it, the guy in my league that has him has a 1 game lead over me...He has Blaylock but I read that it will be a RBBC with Larry Johnson so they can show what he can do for other teams...I love it.

I heard a rumor that he is done for more than just the season...

At his age, it would not surprise me in the least if his career is over. If not over, I can see him being as effective in the future. Running backs take such a beating in the NFL, that it's very rare for one to stay as effective into his thirties. Yes, there are a few exceptions, but there are more Eddie Georges than Curtis Martins.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

Yes but he is only 31 and he hasn't played as many years as some of the backs you mentioned.

I for one hope he returns to form. He is a lot of fun to watch!

good pick ups.. i couldnt remember..

tiger.. i agree.. i think the rumors of him retiring are true..

thurm, the rumors of him retiring stem from his own self admitted pondering of it in the last offseason..

the bad news is.. blaylock and johnson are going to be spliting carries.. and no one is as effective as priest when healthy.. he is good for 20-40 points every game.. no other RB is close to him.

That is all true, the Chiefs want to get something for LJ and need him to show off some talent. Blaylock is a very good #2 RB but will never be a #1. The Chiefs could be in the market for a good RB...>Henry anyone
