Troy Vincent has looked at the schedule often.

Before all of those grueling repetitions in the weight room. After the hour-long jogs on the treadmill.

Dec. 5, at Miami. If Mother Nature is willing, he is, too.

"I'm optimistic," said Vincent, the Buffalo Bills' 13-year veteran cornerback, when asked if he'll be suiting up against his original NFL team at Pro Player Stadium on Sunday. "I'm just tired of holding hats and cheerleading. It's been a long eight weeks." ...more (http://www.democratandchronicle.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20041203/SPORTS03/412030380/1021)

Although we've been playing well, Vincent makes a huge difference, I hope he's back this sunday.

Actually I don't really care if he returns or not.

Isn't he going to be moved to FS if and when he returns? Either way, definitely doesn't hurt to have another playmaker in the secondary.

The sooner he's back on the field, the better. I don't care where he's playing.

I was pretty high on Vincent before the season started (until he injured JP...that rat....j/k  )....but I wasn't overly impressed by what I saw the first 3 games.

I would like to see him back on the field but I don't count on him being a difference maker.

Also, I heard on WGR that with the type of injury TV sustained (allegedly the same as Stephen Davis and Lavar Arrington sustained) is very difficult to come back from in the same season because of the type of rehab necessary to recover (apparently it causes loss of strength in the thigh muscle).

So, even if he comes back, I don't expect anything better than what we are seeing from Baker and McGee.....but might offer an improvement as the nickel CB.
