For years, curious eyebrows have been raised from players and fans alike regarding the freakish body of Pro Bowl wide receiver David Boston.
Many have long suspected him of bulking up his massive frame with the use of anabolic steroids, this despite constant denials from the Dolphins' wideout. Now it appears such speculation may be true.
FOX NFL Sunday has learned that Boston is currently facing a four-game suspension from the NFL for violating its policy on anabolic steroids. Boston is now in the appeals portion of the process. Should he drop or lose the appeal, he will not only be suspended immediately, but he will also lend credence to years of questioning by teammates, opponents, coaches and fans.
Possibly worsening the situation, if Boston does not drop his appeal or receive a ruling by this week, Boston's suspension will roll into next year.
Players close to Boston say he and the Dolphins have known about the impending suspension for quite some time.
