Whether the Bills move CB Troy Vincent to safety depends on the play of two defensive backs. If undrafted rookie Rashad Baker raises his level of play at free safety, the need to switch Vincent will be diminished. If second-year man Terrence McGee improves his consistency at cornerback, the Bills will have more flexibility to do what they please with Vincent. Ideally, Vincent would remain at cornerback because he's the Bills' only player who can match up with big receivers. But eventually, Vincent seems destined to follow players such as Rod Woodson and Aeneas Williams and make a late-career position switch to safety.
