Running Backs: Willis McGahee started out slow in the first half and struggled after he twisted his ankle. However in the second half, he began to wear the defense down and this helped the Bills make some big plays and run the clock down. He was on his way to his 6th 100-yard game, but a few runs for negative yardage at the end of the game stopped that. McGahee had 23 carries for 91 yards and caught 1 pass for 4 yards. But he also fumbled the ball once, after Jason Taylor knocked it out of his hand. Other than the fumble, McGahee did a pretty good job and all the yards he got were tough yards, with hardly any holes for him to run through. When he wasn’t in, Joe Burns was running the ball. Burns had 3 carries for 8 yards. He dropped an easy catch that he should have had, which most likely would have converted a 3rd down. Daimon Shelton did another solid job blocking and continues to prove why he is the diamond in the rough that Donahoe brought in. Shelton also caught 1 pass for 4 yards. Grade: B

BillsZone's Postgame Report Card: Bills vs. Dolphins
Quarterbacks Drew Bledsoe had another solid game, playing against a stingy Miami defense and without a major running game. This was his best game of the season and probably his best since the Jacksonville game last year. Even the naysayers have to agree that he played a very good game. Bledsoe was 19/30 for 277 yards, and threw 4 touchdowns with no interceptions. He did a great job avoiding the pass rush for the most part and recovered nicely from a weak start. When the run game couldn’t get moving, Bledsoe kept moving the chains by threading the needle and finding players, even when they were covered nicely by Miami. Drew Bledsoe is fighting for his job and trying to prove that he can still start in the NFL. If he keeps this up, we may see a nice competition for the starting job in training camp next year. I give Mikeys Report card an a-. Good Job MikeyI remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

Great job as usual, Mikey. Your grades very correctly indicate that this was a win for the offense, and particularly the passing game.Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

Good Job! Only thing left out it was the double coverage and Patriot-style hitting outside of 5 yard line on Moulds which allowed Evans to go wild which allowed Moulds to get back into game. Their plan was to take out three players - McGahee, Moulds and Campbell and cover rest with remaining players and hope to intercept Drew. It did not work.
