Is there any way to download them onto my computer so that I don't have to access the internet every time I want to see them?

Windows XP

C:\Documents and Settings\jwolfer\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files

substitute yourname for jwolfer.

When you view something on the internet, it actually downloads it to your temp files, then deletes it the next time you reboot (usually)

And, remember you need to be showing hidden files and folders, because "Local Settings" is a hidden system folder.

Okay thanks, but is there a way I can copy the file and play it onto something like WMP? I tried right click then "copy" but nothing happens.

You can download a program that captures the video.

It saves them in RM format though. You then need to get a converter to change it to WMP if you want to use that.

Like what? If I were to search for one, what would I look for?

You can download a program that captures the video.

There's a better way.

Paste the link to the file you want here and I'll show you how to do it.

Okay:

http://play.rbn.com/?url=nfl/nfl/open/nflfilms/demand/s2004/nflcom/w11/rams_bills_highlight_300k.rm

Edit: that's the link it gave me but apparetly it's not working at least on my comp. They are all on the video section of buffalobills.com

Edit again: Okay it works now.

try right-clicking on that link and seeing if it will let you save the file locally. I'm having a hard time testing it because the firewall here blocks streaming media.

You generally can't right click and save as anymore - they don't want you saving them locally. I don't know if real files wind up in a usable form in your cache - quicktime usually do.

Give this a shot - http://www.wmrecorder.com/rm_recorder.php

I've used their WMRecorder, and it works well. The RMRecorder is fairly new, at least it wasn't out last time I looked. I don't know if there are any limitations on the demo.

There's always a direct link in the source code. The way I do it is to go into the source code, find the direct link, then create a local HTML document with the links. From there, I can right-click and save them. I haven't tried it on this page yet, though, so I don't know if I did it right (I can't test it here cuz it's blocked by the firewall).

I am getting an "invalid syntax" message.

Okay, who's the dude that made that JetsRams video? Because I know he got those game clips from the bb.com highlights because they are the exact same. I was able to run THAT on WMP.

Yeah, there's a link, but its not to the actual video/audio file - its to another file that redirects to the actual media file.

Try that program I linked to... :tap:

That would be me. I used the one JJ mentioned - RM and WMRecorder.
