The Sporting News is a very liberal sporting publication and of course they think Gay Tom is the man....

can anyone come up with a list of the past ten years of Sportsman of the Year?

I would bet that they are all somewhat light in the loafers.

The best thing for Brady, Belechik and the rest of those smug, insufferable Patsies woukd be a good ass whippin' early in the playoffs.

Say what you want about the patsies... brady... or belicheck.

You would LOVE to have TB and BB on your team! You also have to admire Brady's humility throughout this whole thing. With players like Terrell Owens, Randy Moss, Meshawn Johnson, Deion Sanders, etc etc etc... it is nice to see a guy be gracious in his thanks... humble in his acceptance... and not be in constant trouble with the law or nfl league substance abuse policy.

Sportsman of the year should have been Pat Tillman

Agreed. Brady gets too much credit for what New England has done, IMO. What Pat Tillman did was courageous and deserves a big recognition like Sportsman of the year.

I agree. Pat Tillman all the way.

Although you can't argue with what Brady has done for his team...

Just something about the guy makes me mad though... Marino, Elway, Favre, those guys I like, but Brady, I dunno...

Yup, Tillman

As far as those other QB's they could take a team and carry them 100 yards in 1 minute with no time outs, just on grit alone...that I can respect. Brady is more the system and coaching IMO.
