Mop-up duty
With the Bills well on their way to a sixth victory in seven contests, quarterback J.P. Losman and running back Shaud Williams got some playing time against the Browns. Losman, who at one point was projected to get a start or two before season's end, threw just two passes and had one carry for 10 yards. Williams, who had not played previously, made more of an impact. He finished with 10 carries for 42 yards, including a four-yard scoring run with 2:01 left in the game more (ESPN) (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?page=rookie2004/week14)

Yeah it was mop up duty but not every third string backup can perform in game conditions, even mop up duty.

Meanwhile, Luke McCown's stint as Cleveland's starter appeared to be over. The fourth-rounder from Louisiana Tech went eight for 20 for 62 yards, was intercepted twice and sacked seven times for 74 yards lost in less than three quarters. The Browns turned to regular starter Jeff Garcia, who tore a knee ligament in the contest, and is now out for the season.
