none will...but I dont think the Defense can get any worse....they shouldve kept the money and waited to sign a big-name free agent.

I checked w/ my Titan bud who told me that Favors is only an average LB.

Jones seems like he's a bit of a reach w/ the injury and all. He'll be 30 next season which isn't old. But he really hasn't done that much in 7 seasons. He's had one or two good ones where he's started. Sounds like another gamble to me.

I just hope that's not all we do this offseason. Ie., go for budget guys and guys that TD and GW "know" from a former life. Doesn't sound like we're in for too much though if they don't work out.

We have some cap room left this season, It's more of a "Use it or lose it" situation.

If you spend 1 million less than the cap allows, you can't carry what you didn't use over to next year

I understand that Favors was brought in because of his ability to cover the TE. Robinson has been toast one too many times this season. Jones has no effect this season and porbably little next.

Eye, has Robinson 'not been toast' at any point for an entire game? LOL

Interesting however, if anything IMO Jones will end up being the bigger help. As Dozer said however, I think this may simply be taking some gambles while we have some cap and can pay these guys a little this year to help compensate them for next and so that the hit to us is mitigated should they not pan out.

I'd rather see us making these kinds of signings now than during or at the tail end of the FAcy period. IMO our FAcy efforts have been less than stellar. The move for Bledsoe and our draft have compenstated.
