What do all of you think? Henry needs 126 yards to reach his first professional 1,000 yard mark. Does it happen this week?:mods:

If the Jets go up by 10 he won't get used.

I agree. It seems to me that he gets all caught up in the media hype about all the "shootouts", so that when the game is low scoring, he starts trying to force the ball.

If all goes well and if Mr. Gilbride sees fit...Henry will get 126+. i am, however, more concerned with just getting a win.

No doubt. Unfortunately, IMO, the Bills also have to win games against the Pats and Dolphins in order to keep playoff hopes alive. That's 3-0 in the next 3 games.

If he gets 25 carries it's a lock. I did a little research on running backs at Couchscout.com. That's the place to go for sheer quantity of information. At least according to them, Travis Henry may be a lot faster than I gave him credit for. Couch Scout says he's faster that such highly touted guys as Priest Holmes, Ladanian Thomlinson, and Marshall Faulk and nearly as fast as Shawn Bryson. He does seem to have an extra gear and gets outside pretty easily. Here's the link:

http://www.nis4u.com/couchscoutcom/prb.htm

You will have to scroll down a ways. While Couch Scout accords him a great time in the 40 (4.39) their webmaster doesn't think much of his overall ability. He's listed as the 61st best RB. I trust it'll go up in his next revision.

Charlie Garner 5.7
Michael Bennett 5.6
Marshall Faulk 5.0
Clinton Portis 5.0
Garrison Hearst 4.8
Travis Henry 4.7

But Bennet has 3 consecutive games with a run of 65+ i think he avergae 4 normally

And as Wys Guy always says, you have to discount all those runs over 15 yards. Sorry, Wys Guy, I had to poke a little fun.
